Full professor, member of the working group on transportation, Polytechnique Montréal

Nicolas Saulnier has a degree in engineering and a doctoral degree in computer science (Télécom ParisTech). He has worked at the French institute of science and technology for transport, development and networks (IFSTTAR) and at the civil engineering department at the University of British Columbia. He is currently a full professor in transportation engineering. His main interests are intelligent transportation, road safety and data science for transportation. He is a member of IVADO and of the Interuniversity Research Centre on Enterprise Networks, Logistics and Transportation (CIRRELT), and is co-directing his laboratory on Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). He is a member of the Research Chair on Evaluation and Implementation of Sustainable Mobility of PM (Mobility Chair) directed by Catherine Morency, and of two committees of the Transportation Research Board (TRB) : evaluation, analysis and security data and pedestrians.
